We would like to invite you all to an informal conversation about the Donbas Studies Summer School 2019: The Plant Gave us Everything, which took place in Kyiv and Sieverodonetsk and focused on the cultural potential of the communities of monofunctional cities of the Donbas. The conversation will feature reflections and presentations by the students who attended the school and the organisers.
The school was organised by the CRSCEES University of St Andrews and IZOLYATSIA. Platform for Cultural Initiatives, and funded by GCRF.
This event will take place at 72 Market Street at 2 pm where Summer School participant and photographer Oliver McKenzie will be showing a small exhibition of photographs taken in Sieverodonetsk.
